Give the dog a chance.

I often see dog trainers post about how to stop unwanted behaviors. Which is needed, absolutely.

BUT, first you must teach what is expected. Over and over again. Through hundreds of repetitions.

Many people are going out and buying prong collars and e-collars thinking that these tools will fix the problem.

While the tools are very useful, they don’t train the dog. The training trains the dog.

Therefore, you can’t just put a tool on your dog and think that the magic is going to happen.

Please stop being unfair to your dog by correcting prior to directing.
