Is it ok to have my dog on the furniture?

Each board and train is sent home with homework, rules, and guidelines. This is to ensure that the training is transferred properly and also to make sure it lasts!

One of the rules that we set in place is not allowing the dog on any furniture. This may seem like a no brainer to some of you or harsh to others.

Why do we insist this? Because it changes the relationship between dog and owner drastically.

Many behavioral problems are caused, worsened, or not getting better due to allowing dogs on furniture and treating them like “Furbabies”.

Don’t get me wrong, we LOVE to love our dogs. We just get down to their level to do it 😉.

If you decide to make this rule apply in your home, I guarantee you will notice a change in your relationship for the better. You will automatically want to start doing more activities with your dog because you’re no longer able to just “Netflix & Chill”.
